A fine novelty silver combination Scent Bottle and Vinaigrette in the form of a horn, with attached suspensory chain, the main cover opening to reveal a silver gilt interior and the Vinaigrette, the screw cap at the other end to seal the Scent Bottle, the body profusely decorated with birds amongst foliate scroll work. The cover engraved with a monogram.

By Sampson Mordan & Co, London, 1873. Also stamped with Registered Design lozenge and retailers mark of Thornhill.
