An extremely fine and rare fully hallmarked novelty silver Vinaigrette formed as a mussel shell, with a natralistically engraved exterior, the silver gilt interior with elaborately pierced grille. Attached suspension ring.
By Sampson Mordan & Co, London, 1883. Marked on lid, base and grille.
