An extremely fine and rare novelty silver Vinaigrette formed as a mussel shell, with a naturalistically engraved exterior, the silver gilt interior with elaborately pierced grille engraved with the maker's name and a diamond registration mark. Attached suspension ring. The space between the shells gilded for contrast.
