A rare Victorian novelty silver combination Vinaigrette & Sewing Etui formed as a Policeman's Bullseye Lantern, with mock opening door, two tier fluted domed top opening by a catch to reveal the etui including thimble, bobbin and tape measure. A large domed crystal lens to the front with red foiled background. The plain hinged base containing the vinaigrette with pierced silver gilt lift-out grille. Belt fittings to the rear.
