Photo 1 of 16

A Victorian novelty silver Sewing Etui, made in the form of a Suitcase with side carrying handle and two simulated leather straps. The case is opened via a sprung clasp to reveal a gilt interior and central tool holder that is attached to and revolves on the main hinge. The tool holder consists of a tape measure, a bobbin and spool holder, a needle case and a thimble. These sit on top of a narrow pin box that runs the full width and has a tiny hinged cover.
