A very fine quality late Victorian silver and enamel telescopic Propelling Pencil and Perpetual Calendar of cylindrical form, the telescopic pencil with reeded barrel and ball finial, housed within a cylindrical sheath with attached suspension ring, the revolving calendar highlighted with dark blue enamel and with the unusual addition of a "Months dial".

By J C Vickery, London, c1895. Their name and address engraved on the pencil - 181 & 183 Regent Street, where they were located between 1891 and 1900.
