An extremely fine and rare Victorian silver triple compartment Stamp Box, of plain rectangular form, the hinged lid with superb inset enamel depictions of Victorian 1d lilac, half-penny vermilion and two and a half penny purple on blue stamps, each cancelled by part Manchester circular date stamp post marks to the lower left corners. The hinged lid opening to reveal a silver gilt interior with three concave compartments.
