A good quality Victorian silver Vesta Case of rounded rectangular form with sprung hinged lid, the face engraved with an Armorial Crest and initials, also set with a cabochon citrine within a star.
The crest of a wolf sejant, collared and chained is possibly that of Stanton or Staunton.
