An extremely fine and rare Victorian silver 'Castle Top' Card Case, chased with a view of Melrose Abbey in Roxburghshire, Scotland, in high relief, surrounded by foliate scroll decoration on a matt background to the back and the front. A cartouche to the reverse engraved with a contemporary inscription ""Kate"".
