A rare and unusual Victorian silver castle-top Card Case of shaped rectangular form with hinged lid embossed with two racing rowing boats, the reverse embossed with folaite scrolls in high relief and a shaped cartouche engraved with contemporary script initials. The face chased and embossed with an unusual view of Windsor Castle from across the River Thames with Victoria Bridge and figures fishing from the shore and from boats in the foreground.
