A good quality Victorian silver combined Scent Bottle and Vinaigrette, of cylindrical form with hinged lids at either end, one formed as a glass lined Scent Bottle with stopper and the other as a gilded Vinaigrette with pierced hinged grille, the body chased and engraved with bands of raised foliate scroll decoration on matt backgrounds, an oval cartouche to the front engraved with an armorial crest of a demi lion rampant. The tops of the lids chased with a flower spray and a bee (the trade mark of S.Blanckensee).
