A fine and rare Victorian silver gilt Christening Set, consisting of Dessert Knife, Fork and Spoon in the rare ""Canova"" pattern.

This pattern was first produced in about 1850 and exhibited by Chawner & Co at the Great Exhibition in 1851, being based on Canova's 'Hebe', 'Sappho' and the 'Dancing Girl Reposing'.
