A good Dr Wall Worcester large Mug of slightly tapering form with grooved loop handle, printed in black with the “Whitton Anglers” depicting two ladies and a gentleman fishing in a park, taken from a view in the garden of the Duke of Argyll in Middlesex, engraved by William Woollett, the reverse with “the Minuet”, a design by Robert Hancock after Hayman and taken from the “Ladies Amusement”.
Unmarked c1760. Perfect condition.
